VINEYARDS OF SOUTHERN FRANCE
JUL - SEP 2024
A research-based project exploring the botanical ecosystems surrounding vineyards in southern France. Through field observation and plant collection, the work examines the relationship between cultivated agricultural landscapes and the spontaneous vegetation inhabiting their margins.
Focusing on soil composition and native plant species near the Lot River, the project traces how terrain, mineral conditions, and ecological systems shape both cultivated and wild botanical environments.
This body of work acts as a conceptual and material precursor to an ongoing project developed in Bordeaux (2026).
Foliage: Cahors, Southern France.
